Extra-Curricular Activities

Our Co-curricular seeks to develop the potentials and talents of students abound at Artic School, these activities become very important, because it’s help students to develop their talents, interests, passions and equipped them with professional skills. With many options available, every student should find employable skills that are of their interest and develop a passion for it.

Sports

There are various outdoor games for which students could train and perfect. These include Swimming, Basketball, Volley and Football.

ICT Club

During ICT Club, students are given the opportunity to use the computers to undertake further research on their learning, practice skills they are learning in class or to learn new skills such as film making, Web Design, Robotic (Coding or Programming), Video Game Development, Animations or Cartooning, Photography, Computer Hardware and Networking.

Skill Acquisition

Our vocational or trade school is specifically designed to train students for certain jobs. Most importantly, we provide hands-on training to prepare students for actual work in their chosen industry. The carefully selected programs include food/cooking, tailoring/sewing, weaving, garment making, welding and fabrication, and cosmetology.

Academics

We are currently running dual curriculum concurrently. The learners are prepared for both local and the international examinations conducted by Pearson Edexcel, Ghana Education Service and the West African Examination Council respectively.

Pre-School / Early Year Stage

We welcome children from age 0-2 up to 5 years, starting from Crèche, Nursery and ending at Reception (KG2).

Primary / iPrimary

Primary / iPrimary This section is designed to meet the basic learning needs of students and is a complete six year programme. We welcome Children from age 5-11 years.

Junior High School / iLower Secondary

This is a complete three year programme for use in Secondary or international secondary schools. It is designed to explicitly prepare students for IGCSE or BECE conducted by Pearson Edexcel and the West African Examination Council respectively.

Senior High School

Our High School is designed to explicitly prepare students for International AS/A Level and WASCCE conducted by Pearson Edexcel and the West African Examination Council respectively, which is taken by students in Years 12 and 16 (Grades 11 & 12).

Admission

We look forward to welcoming you in our school and we invite children from the ages of 1year to 16years into Pre-school, Primary, Junior High and Senior High School respectively.

The students will be assessed after a successful interview and the assessment will cover the following: English Language Mathematics General Science

Application forms are acquired from the school after assessments are completed and recommendations are agreed on by the parents and the school.

The school is governed by School Planning and Management Team (SPMT), which comprises competent resource personnel from various areas carefully selected to bring their expertise on board for effective management. They are formidable partners in educational governance and supervision, thus making policies and programme that help to achieve the vision and mission of the school.
